About the event
The magnificent Grade-I-Listed mansion at Plas Newydd is beautifully situated in 160 acres of woodland, parkland and formal gardens, with views of the Menai Strait and the Welsh mountains. Amongst the house's many treasures is a stunning Rex Whistler mural. The gardens and parkland can also be explored and there's a restaurant, plenty of picnic areas, and a gift shop.
We will leave Hartford at 9.15am and arrive, after an interesting journey along the North Wales coast, at approximately 11.15am. The cost, depending on final numbers, should be no more than £35 (£21 for National Trust members).
A £5 deposit will confirm your place. Contact bookings@hartfordcivicsociety.org for further information.
