Hartford Civic Society

Work has been going on around the mosaic at Hartford crossroads, to clean and improve the area. This project was initiated, managed and paid-for by Hartford Civic Society.

Budworth Mere, viewed from Marbury Country Park. The weather was very kind to the eight people who joined our November walk. We started at the Salt Barge pub and walked along the canal to Marbury Country Park. The high spot was at the hide overlooking Budworth Mere, where there was plenty of bird activity. A chap there wielding a Canon camera with a huge lens was happy to show us some stunning photographs on his camera's memory card. He has been visiting Marbury for 10 years
