We spread our wings for our next walk, which is on Thursday 21st August. It involves a pleasant drive into South Cheshire to the attractive Peckforton Hills area near to Beeston Castle. On a clear day there are views of Shropshire and the Welsh Hills from the Sandstone Trail Ridge walk.

About the event
The event starts and finishes in Hartford. We meet at the car park next to the Grange School at 15:00. So that I can arrange transport from the car park to the start point of the walk, please let me know if you are coming and, if you have a car, whether you are OK with taking up to two passengers. We will stop for a short break so, if you wish, bring a drink and a snack with you. Dogs welcome, but on a lead. It is essential you register attendance with me in advance as the walk is limited to 12 persons to ensure it’s a companionable event.
